Promoted for 31 consecutive years by AESabesp - Association of Engineers of Sabesp, Fenasan - National Exhibition of Sanitation and Environment is today consolidated and recognized as one of the most important trade fairs in the sanitation sector in Brazil and abroad, and together with AESabesp Technical Meeting - National Congress of Sanitation and Environment, is considered as the largest event of the sector in Latin America.
Between visitors to the Fair and Meeting / Congress participants, the event receives around 17,000 people each year. Its public is made up of executives, technicians, businessmen, students, managers, and researchers from public and private agencies, academics and others interested in advancing the application of knowledge in environmental sanitation, resulting in one of the most qualified visits of the sector achievements.
Fenasan's main objectives are the promotion and disclosure of the technology used in the environmental sanitation sector, as well as the exchange of information, product demonstration, and technological development of systems used in the treatment and supply of water, sewage, drainage of rainwater, laboratory analysis, adduction and supply and collection systems, and final disposal and solid waste management, bringing together the main manufacturers and suppliers of materials and services for the sanitation sector and related segments.
Social and environmental actions are also a priority in the constitution of this event. AESabesp is integrated with the CDM (Clean Development Mechanism), established in the Kyoto Treaty, and encourages the reduction of socio-environmental impacts, with its own carbon neutralization program.
